Permission was given for Good Tyne Girl (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Good Tyne Girl (IRE), ridden by P.
J.
McDonald and trained by Heather Main, which unseated the rider twice after leaving the Parade Ring and ran loose for several minutes before being withdrawn.
The trainer was interviewed.
As the filly had also been unruly at Wolverhampton on 14 January 2019 the trainer was informed that any future similar behaviour from Good Tyne Girl (IRE) may result in the filly being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Arriba De Toda (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Kieran Schofield, interfered with Alfred The Grey (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Phil Dennis.
Schofield was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right causing Alfred The Grey (IRE) to be checked.
Being a 7lb claimer, Schofield was offered to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Approximately 1 ½ furlongs out, Cheap Jack (GB), placed third, edged left taking Kodi Dream (GB), placed fourth, slightly off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Cheap Jack (GB).
