Permission was given for She's The Danger (IRE) to go early to post and for Camusdarach (IRE) to be mounted in the chute.
The winner, Mr Heinz (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ripon on 28 August 2023 where the gelding finished ninth of thirteen, beaten by 9 ¼ lengths.
It was noted that Simon Whitaker could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Mr Heinz (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Lewis Edmunds reported that SHE’S THE DANGER (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
