Kilshannig obliged on his handicap debut in good style. He was no match for some decent maidens at Leopardstown on his previous start, but found this level more to his liking.

The hat-trick seeking Fiery Lad did himself no favours with his antics at the start. He reared up several times in the stalls and came out awkwardly. that said he ran well and was disputing the lead early in the straight before eventually finishing third.

Guitar Man showed nothing on three outing as a 2-y-o, but saw out the trip well here and is certainly capable of winning a similar contest.

Yield For No One met trouble turning for home and finished pretty so may improve on this effort.
