Robert Cowell could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance other than Tom Marquand reporting that Swooper (GB) hung right- handed under pressure and stopped quickly in the straight.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post- race examination of Swooper (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
