Mr I.P. Donoghue, rider of Dubai Dandy trained by Edward Creighton, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount felt lame behind and was pulled up thereafter
The Stewards interviewed Mr M.C. O'Donovan, rider of Ajijic, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. M.C. O'Donovan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.
A steeplechase for ? Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have not won a race, including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing, and that have between 1st October, 2016 and 17th December, 2019 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point To-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland
