The Stewards fined Mark Fahey, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Cant Pay Wont Pay, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order. M.A. Enright, rider of Wilde 'N Wide trained by A.J. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up. Owing to ground conditions, the Stewards granted permission for fence number two to be omitted for all chases.
