The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Cian Cullinan, rider of Greenway Machine, presented to weigh out at 2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had done this weight recently but couldn't do it today despite having a run before racing. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for the rider to ride at 2lbs overweight but were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 198 and they therefore imposed a fine of €150
