Permission was given for In The Giving (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Angel Time (IRE), compared with its previous run at Lingfield on the 1 March 2023, where the filly finished twelfth of twelve, beaten by 16 lengths, was considered.
Robyn Brisland’s explanation that the filly handled the Heavy ground on this occasion, was noted.
Angel Time (IRE) was routine tested.
The performance of In The Giving (IRE), which started favourite and finished sixth of six, was considered.
The representative of William Haggas' explanation that the filly was unsuited by the Heavy ground and would prefer a faster surface, was noted and confirmed the report from Adam Farragher that the filly had lost action approximately 3 furlongs out.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of In The Giving (IRE), failed to reveal any abnormalities.
