< Casual Approach came out on top in a thrilling finish to the Albany Hurdle at Navan.
Held up in last of the five runners by Bryan Cooper, the 6-1 chance was just off the pace as 1-2 favourite Snow Falcon nosed ahead over the final flight.
The pacesetting Sang Tiger got back in front after that though, before Gordon Elliott's winner drew upsides, and the pair battled all the way to the line, with Casual Approach edging the verdict by a head.< Ballyoisin looks a name to conjure with in future after a bloodless success in the Troytown Bar Maiden Hurdle.
Always in command from four out, the Enda Bolger-trained 4-6 favourite sauntered up the home straight under a motionless Barry Geraghty, winning by 11 lengths from Mighty Concorde < Jarob proved too good for his rivals in the Emerald Facility Services Beginners Chase.
Andrew Lynch's 5-2 chance was one of a number in with chances at the third last, but Keith Donoghue was sitting pretty, and after taking up the running before the last, he kept on to beat Georges Conn by a length and a quarter.< Phil The Flyer turned the Racing Again Wednesday 7th October Handicap Hurdle into a procession.
Shane Shortall stole a march on his rivals when rounding the home turn well in front on Ray Hackett's 15-2 chance, and kept up a remorseless gallop to score by seven lengths from Crown Theatre < Pilgrim Way could be called the winner a long way out in the N.I. Childrens Hospice Handicap Hurdle as he travelled beautifully for Mark Walsh, but Mark Cahill's 12-1 chance had to work a touch harder at the end to repel Perrie Hill by three and a half lengths.
Walsh bagged a double when coming from well off the pace on Val O'Brien's Valour's Minion (8-1) to take the spoils in the Meath Farm Machinery Handicap Chase.
