< Jadanli (25-1) just lasted home in a thrilling finish to the Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase at Gowran Park.
Paul Gilligan's veteran hadn't managed to get his head in front since the 2010 Powers Gold Cup but was third in this last year and appeared set for a comfortable success when heading Tarquinius after jumping the third-last.
However, he began to run on empty after the final fence and Tarquinius came with a renewed challenge, failing by just a head.< Bog Warrior hasn't looked back since reverting to timber and completed a hat-trick in the Grade Two John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle.
Last season's Drinmore hero lost his way a bit over fences, but his confidence has been restored and he made his own running under Davy Russell.
Ruby Walsh didn't let him get too far away on Zaidpour who claimed this prize 12 months ago, but the 8-11 market leader had plenty left in the locker when he challenged and stuck on well to cross the line with three and a quarter lengths in hand.< Dogora made it two from two over obstacles in the Nugent Spirit 25 Horsebox Hurdle.
Willie Mullins' French recruit was sent off the 2-5 favourite but had to pull out all the stops once taking the lead off Dalasiri two out, with Sabrina Harty's charge rallying gamely all the way up the straight and getting back to within a head at the line.
Mullins followed up when Sizing Tennessee also landed odds of 2-5 in the P.J. Foley Memorial INH Flat Race.< Curvacious (11-1) made every post a winning one to break through in the Four Star Langton House Hotel Maiden Hurdle, while Rory Anna defied top weight to land the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at odds of 12-1.< Lookoutnow (7-1) continued his excellent run of form with a comprehensive victory in the KCLR 96FM Heart Of Carlow Kilkenny Carey's Cottage Cup Handicap Chase.
