Viareggio scoots in for red-hot Harrington

The Jessica Harrington bandwagon just keeps rolling on in September as Viareggio dominated in the Curragh's nursery over a mile.
Scott McCullagh drove her to the front past Capoeira racing to the final furlong in deteriorating conditions.
Viareggio stayed on strongly to draw four and three quarter lengths clear at 4/1. Capoeira finished second at 6/1 and was sixth lengths clear of Nectarine (4/1) as the field finished strung out.
Viareggio was building upon a victory in a premier nursery at Cork earlier in the month.
Harrington said: “Scott just said that since we put the visor on her she’s a completely different filly.
“She’s won by nearly five lengths and she’s already up to 80 so I’m not sure what we’ll do but maybe another nursery. She’s certainly progressing.”
Harrington has now had 25 winners in the last three weeks.
