Tudor Fashion got her chasing career off to the perfect start when landing some nice bets in the Greenmount Mares Beginners Chase.
Winner of a mares maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse back in January and placed on a number of occasions, the seven-year-old was backed on track from 8/1 into 5/1 on her chasing debut.
John Cullen produced her to head the front-running Shaunas Dream at the second last, and she soon asserted for a five and a half lengths success.
The 6/4 favourite Miss Xian was a further two and a half lengths back in third.
Winning trainer Daryl Deacon said, “She missed a little bit of work after the last day. If it’s too firm she won’t run again this season and we’ll see what the handicapper does with her.”
