Toomdeely impresses at Listowel
The T.P Walsh Memorial Handicap Hurdle was won by Brian Brynes aboard Toomdeely trained by restricted trainer Patrick Neville for owners The Silver Quest Partnership.
Brynes made all and was clear from halfway and stayed on well to win by an easy 15 lengths nearest rival being Arkendale ridden by Roger Quinlan. The 3/1 favourite Havetoavit of Willie Mullins finished 3rd.
Patrick Neville trainer from Limerick is an electrician by trade said afterwards, "The horse ran a cracker at Cork the last day the trip was too short for him. He's an out and out stayer and chasing is his game. The horse is named after my home address in Limerick."
