Sheet edges Kilkenny duel
Scandal Sheet notched a double for Jim Bolger at Gowran Park this evening when battling gamely to record a neck success in the Kilkenny Handicap.
Kevin Manning had sent the 15/8 favourite to dispute with Final Flashback under two furlongs from home but she found that rival a tough nut to crack.
The pair settled down for a great tussle with the Galileo filly just asserting in the closing stages for a neck success.
"She's just come to herself. She was a pretty good two-year-old but lost her way last year", said Bolger.
"She's got it all together now. I'd say we'll look for some black-type for her. We may be forced into that anyway."
