Shadow puts rivals in shade
Shadow Eile produced a good front-running to claim the concluding bumper at Down Royal for Dot Love.
It was a quick double on the card for Ciaran Murphy, who had claimed the hunters chase on Good Egg
The mare galloped on strongly, when asked for an effort over a furlong out, to post a three-and-a-half length winning margin over Giant's Quest
"We were very confident today - she was ready to win! said Love afterwards.
"I rode her myself yesterday and she was pulling my arms off."
The winner is a full-sister to a useful type in Corskeagh Royale, who was also bred by winning Mullingar owner Sean Reilly.
