Dawn Session forges on

Dawn Session got his head in front at the third attempt this season when claiming the median auction maiden at Gowran Park.
Jim Bolger 's charge had already been placed on both starts this term having made one start as a juvenile last year.
Rory Clear sent the 3/1 shot into the lead after a couple of furlongs and he kicked a couple of lengths clear passing the two pole.
The Dawn Approach colt held the fast finishing New Phenomenon by three-parts-of-a-length.
There was a stewards enquiry called with the winner coming slightly over on the runner-up near the line but the result stood.
“He's a fine horse and he handles that fast ground well,” said Bolger.
“His Curragh run wasn't as good as his first run (at Leopardstown) and it's good to see him back on song.
“We'll take him home and see how he is next week, we'll make some decisions then.”
