Salariaq burst between rivals to come with a strong run and land the Mike Denver Live at Limerick Handicap at Greenmount Park this afternoon.
Tommy Stack 's filly hadn't enjoyed the clearest passage when beaten favourite at the track nine days ago but recouped the losses in today's mile contest.
The 2/1 favourite was produced to challenge at the furlong pole and got to the lead inside the final 100 yards for a neck success over Tocata Blue.
It was a second career success from four starts for the American bred filly. Jockey Wayne Lordan was recording a double having also taken the opener on the David Wachman-trained Wardell
"She was tough and dug it out well," said Stack.
"Wayne said she is still mentally immature and hadn't learned a lot from her previous races."
