After winning the previous contest with Acapulco Gold Davy Russell and Paul Nolan quickly doubled up as they took the Hook Head Chase with Far Away So Close
The eight-year-old son of Norwich was sent off at 13/8 with Norther Bay going off the 5/4 favourite under Eddie O’Connell for Eoin Griffin.
The ‘jolly’ attempted to make all with Far Away So Close settling in second.
The Gigginstown House Stud owned victor, closed from after the third last and he came with his challenge approaching the straight.
He soon gained a narrow lead and he kept on well on the run-in to score by a length and three parts from Norther Bay back in second.
Davy Russell said afterwards: "He deserved that as he has been so consistent.
"The ground staff have done a great job today and when they do a good job they deserve praise."
Head lad, Alan Dobbs added: "He’ll be kept on the go now and if he comes out of this okay he could run in a winners hurdle at Cork next week.
"He is a nice horse and he won in Aintree for us a few years back. Paul is on holidays and it's great to have a double."
