Ready To Roc on the way to bigger things
Ready To Roc prevails from King Electric

"I've always liked him, and he's been very professional from day one. We hope he's a Royal Ascot horse, and he'll go for the Marble Hill and we'll see after that," said Johnny Murtagh after his Ready To Roc (20/1) looked real smart on debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Maiden at Dundalk. King Electric went off at odds of 4/9 on the strength of a promising first start but he couldn't live with the turn of foot displayed by Ready To Roc inside the last. Half a length split them at the line. They left Room To Roam five and a half lengths back in third.
"Connor (King, winning rider) was always comfortable on him. He travelled well, picked up really well, and pricked his ears when he got to the front," added Murtagh.
