Gavin Cromwell's Presentingnewyork wore down Rosa Gloriosa to land the mares' bumper in Wexford.
This was her first crack at an extended two and a half miles.
Rosa Gloriosa boxed on well off the front but Presentingnewyork finished with a flourish. The pair raced almost track-width apart in the closing stages as Presentingnewyork finished the better.
The winner came in by a length and three parts at 3/1 with the runner-up returned at the same price. Cream Sparkles took third at 14/1.
Stable representative Feidhlim Cunningham said: "We didn't think it would take her as long to win her bumper. She was second to Brandy Love in Fairyhouse in a four-year-old bumper.
"The extra trip today was the key to her today. Derek (O'Connor) said when she jumps up in trip she will be a lovely mare to go forward with.
"I'd imagine she will go over hurdles now as there is no winners' bumpers over two and a half (miles) during the summer."
