Peace Maker stayed on strongly to land the mile and a half handicap in Cork for Jonny Feane at 16/1.
This gave Feane an across-the-card double as Not A Bad Oul Day also won in Roscommon.
In this assignment, Peace Maker raced in a clear second behind front-running Big Ego
He was ridden into the lead by Gary Halpin with two and a half furlongs to travel and showed his stamina by galloping on resolutely. Bold Knight (11/2) kept him honest by finishing his race well to be a never nearer second, beaten a length and three parts at the line.
Big Ego at 7/1 edged out 11/4 favourite Shoulda Lied by a nose for third.
The trainer's father, Jimmy Feane, said: "He jumps a hurdle and will hopefully be going for a three-year-old hurdle soon."
