Party continues for Moran/Darcy
Restricted trainer Michael Moran bowed to the National Hunt handicapper's better judgement at Limerick today, despite having saddled his Thepartysover to win the Limerick GAA Handicap Hurdle at Limerick today.
Ridden by Mike Darcy, the son of Cloudings improved to lead before three out, before eventually staying on well for a three and a half lengths win over Ballochroy
Piltown based Moran subsequently quipped “I thought the handicapper was very severe on Thepartysover giving him 12lbs for his win at Downpatrick in March, but I'll have to admit my defeat after that!”
He added “Mike (Darcy) rides very well and gave him a great ride and the tongue-tie helps him too.”
