O'Grady notches brace with Guzzle
Edward O'Grady saddled a quick double when Guzzle An Go came with a late charge to claim the Eldon Bar Mares Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel.
Andrew McNamara got a good tune from the 4/1 favourite, who finished strongly on the run-in to grab Credit Box for a length-and-a-quarter success.
Patrick Mangan had struck in the previous race aboard Oola Lad for the Ballynonty handler.
"She's a sister to Whinstone Boy so will make a valuable broodmare in time. Hopefully she'll jump a fence one day," said O'Grady.
"I thought both my jockeys were good tonight. Oola Lad is not an easy ride (Patrick Mangan) and Andrew gave her a good confident ride."
The winner is engaged at Downpatrick tomorrow night and O'Grady added:-
"I'll see how she is in the morning - she'll tell me. It might be a bit quick."
