Nomer completes double for O'Grady
Edward O'Grady, successful with Torphichen earlier on the card, completed a brace when newcomer Miss Nomer landed the second division of the bumper at Gowran Park.
Stephen Byrne produced his mount to hit the front early in the straight and she galloped on strongly in the closing stages. River Sava chased her home but could only get within three lengths.
"The Star Syndicate only leased her recently and hopefully she can go on to better things," said O'Grady.
"She might go for a winners bumper next and she's a good hurdler in the making."
