The four-year-old bumper saw My Gaffer (7/2) step up a place having finished runner-up in his first two outings at Roscommon and Killarney.
The Malinas gelding made all the running under Harry Swan and stayed on well in the straight to beat But What by two and three quarter lengths. Volantis was a further length and three quarters away in third with the 5/4 favourite Bukhill a well-beaten fourth.
Winning trainer John Ryan said: “He’s out of Deep Sunset who was a good mare.
“He could go for a winners’ bumper in Cork and Tipperary. He’s only a four-year-old and we’ll keep him in bumpers this season.”
