Murtagh hits the right note
Chorus Of Angels made it two wins on the bounce as she followed up her Leopardstown win at the backend of last season to score again in the Gabriel Curran Memorial Madrid Handicap for trainer David Wachman.
Carrying the colours of the Blue Syndicate, the daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar stuck her head out well to see off the rallying 6/4 favourite Mr Topaz by a neck.
"She likes that ground, and has just taken a bit of time but hopefully there is more to come," said Wachman.
