Murtagh and Linehan on the Munny

"I thought that the six furlongs might be a bit sharp for him," admitted Johnny Murtagh as his More Than Munny (10s into 9s) stepped up on his debut effort here on January 8th to land the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Race at Dundalk.
"They went quick and he's learning all the time," added Murtagh.
"He's a lovely horse, and my first winner for the owner, Seamus McPeake, who is from the North but is living in Australia. I'm delighted as all the horses are running well at the moment."
Seven pound claimer Denis Linehan gave More Than Munny a patient steer and his willing American-bred partner got up to defeat odds-on favourite, Go Kart (had looked on the verge of success when striking on a furlong out) by a neck. Flowerhill Nova seems to be progressing well with experience and he was half a length off the front pair in third.
