Mullins and Meade team up for Wexford win
Jockey Emmett Mullins made the most of opportunities at the ‘second meeting’ at Wexford today, partnering the Noel Meade trained Tackmaster to win the Leinster Maiden Hurdle.
Mullins produced the son of Ragmar late, getting a run through on the inner from the final flight to defeat Tabhachtach by a length and a quarter.
Meade was at Navan but his brother Ben Meade was on hand to report “we’re very happy with him and Noel was quite sweet on him today. Hopefully it’s onwards and upwards from here!”
The win was Mullins' second winner of the season, from just 20 rides this term.
