Mulgrave bagged back-to-back Friday night wins at Dundalk with a cosy success in the finale this evening.
John McConnell 's charge travelled notably well into the straight in the mile handicap and was sent to the front over a furlong from home by Donagh O'Connor.
The 5/2 favourite soon asserted, staying on strongly to the line to record a three-and-a-quarter length win over Ghumama
Mulgrave had also won here last Friday night and was recording his fourth career victory, all coming over course and distance.
McConnell said: "We have done a lot of work with him and when he does everything right, in settling and breathing, he has a fair amount of ability.
"I didn't like hearing the distance! He's going to get hit (by the handicapper).
"I would like to try him on the turf again. When he ran there before, he wasn't doing things right."
