Model display from Bowe's Lass
Model County Lass gained due reward for her consistency by landing the Paddypower.com Iphone App I.N.H. Stallion Owners European Breeders Fund Maiden Hurdle for Colin Bowe at Cork.
With her regular partner Barry O'Neill at the point-to-point in Lingstown, it was left to Davy Condon to do the steering on the daughter of Definite Article and she got home by a length and a quarter from Medical Card
Bowe said: "She is tough and she was due that as she has been knocking on the door on her last couple of runs. The ground out there was fine for her as it is only loose on top. She is consistent and tough."
Model County Lass was bred by Voler La Vedette's owner Margaret Brophy and she is owned by the White Gold Syndicate which includes Richie Furlong the owner of Our Victoria (a winner at Clonmel on Thursday).
Bowe sent a couple of four-year-olds to Lingstown today but didn't run as the ground was considered too quick.
