There's been a market move for Drummond Warrior in the 4.35 at Cork.
The Zoffany gelding, trained by Denis Hogan, is into 5/1 from 33/1.
Although he's been unplaced in six starts since coming to Ireland, the 5-year-old won his first two starts for Pam Sly in 2019 and there was a glimmer of promise in his staying-on fifth in a claimer at Dundalk before Christmas.
Once rated 87, he's down to 58 today and 5lb claimer Joey Sheridan takes the mount.
About Mark Nunan
Mark has followed racing since he was a teenager and worked for many years as a broadcaster with the Irish version of Racecall. He joined the Press Association in 2019 and is also a contributor to the Racing Post. A native of Kildare, he now lives in Sligo.
