Last year's winner Shady Operator is into 6/4 from 2/1 for the opening banks race this afternoon at Punchestown. Fire Attack is 5/1 from 11s ahead of the rated novice chase at 2.10 in which Ciel De Neige remains a solid 6/5 favourite.
There's a new favourite for the Grand National Trial at 2.40 with Stones And Roses a course winner on heavy ground last season, having been supported from 8/1 into 9/2.
Supreme Jet is out of the Listed novice hurdle at 3.10 in which Au Fleuron has been the one for money. Gordon Elliott's charge, runner-up to Banbridge at Navan last time, is into 9/4 from 9/2.
Elliott's Jack In The Box third on debut at today's venue last month, steps up in trip for the maiden hurdle at 3.40 and Jack Kennedy's mount is now 2/1 favourite (from 3/1). The Flier Begley is a significant non-runner in this heat.
A couple of springers in the three-mile handicap hurdle at 4.10 are China Princess (25s into 10/1) and Classic Concorde (25s into 14/1).
