Majestic keeps locals happy
There was a real Wexford success in the Broomhill Point Flat Race as three time point-to-point winner, Majestic Mayhem bred by Denis Hickey, scooted-up after making all, by six lengths, under the breeder's nephew, Andrew Doyle.
Having his first outing for local trainer, Jimmy Devereux, the seven-year-old son of Luso showed his appreciation for the good ground as he powered away from Traffic Article at the business end.
Devereux said: "He won three points for Darragh (Berry). He had a bad run the last day and you'd have thought there was something wrong with him. The better ground is probably what he wants. He'll go hurdling soon."
