Lordan shines on Quaintly
Wayne Lordan gave Quaintly an excellent front-running ride to claim the mile-and-a-half handicap at Tipperary.
The David Wachman-trained filly kicked clear of her field before the straight and that move proved a winning one.
The daughter of Giant's Causeway stayed on stoutly in the closing stages as Lady Bennett tried to challenge, eventually scoring by a length.
"Wayne gave her a great ride," said Wachman afterwards.
"To be fair to her she was rallying at the finish in Killarney last time. She stays well and likes fast ground."
