Galkina showed the benefit of her debut run when coming out on top in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Fillies Maiden at Listowel.
Wayne Lordan, who later completed a double on Gentil J had the daughter of Pour Moi up with the pace throughout and she stayed on strongly inside the final furlong.
The easy-to-back 11/2 chance had three and a quarter lengths to spare at the line over Pink Jeanie with Latchet another length and a half away in third.
The winner was never really involved on her only previous outing at Tipperary last month behind Sweet Sounds.
Winning trainer Tommy Stack’s son and assistant Fozzy said, “Obviously she handled the ground and she stays well. My mother, along with Sue Magnier, bred her.
“Seeing as we have the mare, we will probably look for some black type. She is from a staying family.”
