Master Of The Hunt

The well-backed 11/4 favourite Master Of The Hunt landed the GowranPark.ie Maiden to complete doubles for Aidan O'Brien, Wayne Lordan and the Coolmore partners.
Fitted with cheekpieces for the first time, the well-backed 11/4 favourite raced close to the pace and led two furlongs out before clearing away to beat Shamsuddin by two and three quarter lengths.
Stable representative Chris Armstrong said: "It is nice to get a win to his name and in fairness to the horse he has been running consistently in the mid-to-high 80s all year long. We put the cheekpieces on him to keep him sharp for around here.
"We'll look for a handicap or conditions race and let him tip away.
"In fairness to the man on his back, he is riding in tip-top form and has had a nice couple of winners over the last week or so. He goes into Royal Ascot from tomorrow into Saturday and will pick up a lot of second-string rides."
