Adrian Murray's Killaro Boy made all and kept up the gallop when delivering in the two and a half mile handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse.
The 12/1 shot appeared to be vulnerable when 7/4 favourite That's A Wrap loomed large three out.
However, Killaro Boy found another gear for Ger Fox when he popped the second last and went away from the pursuers. Edvardo (6/1) finished with a flourish from the last and closed to within a length and three parts of the winner at the line. Theo (5/1 from 9/1 in the morning) got up to deprive That's A Wrap for third place.
This was Killaro Boy's first step into a handicap after winning his point-to-point and running unplaced in three maiden hurdles.
