Kalanelli a name to remember
Kalanelli looked like a mare we'll be hearing plenty more of judging by her impressive display on outing number one in the concluding Limerickraces.ie Online Booking Mares (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
The majority of the field still had a chance as the race neared its conclusion but the victorious daughter of Kalanisi quickened smartly from over a furlong out under Henry de Bromhead's amateur Paul Power to score a comprehensive victory over Metro Star
Kalanelli is trained by well-known stallion master Noel Henley and he said: "She is owned by a Welsh man, Philip Richards and he lives on the Isle of Man. This was his first runner in Ireland and she'll go for the mares listed bumper at Navan in a few weeks time now."
