John Fahy picks up one day ban
The stewards interviewed John Fahy rider of Brown Vixen concerning the fact that he appeared to move across to the rails from stall eight prior to reaching the marker poles.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mick Shanahan also attended the enquiry representing Ms Tracey Collins, trainer of Brown Vixen.
Having considered the evidence and viewed the videos the stewards were of the opinion that John Fahy was in breach of Rule 211 (a) and suspended him for one raceday. Furthermore the rider was advised to familiarise himself with the Rules of Racing.
