Joeswayornoway stayed on strongly under Kieren Buckley to take the Tote Always SP Or Better At Killarney Handicap Chase at Killarney.
The Dusty Sheehy-trained topweight was winning for the first time in eight starts over fences. A winner over hurdles at Clonmel last year, the mare had shaped with promise when fourth at Downpatrick last time.
In a change of tactics, the mare led from the outset and with Buckley getting the fractions right, she had enough in reserve to press on from 2 out and run out a game winner from the staying on Moonlit Sea
Winning trainer Eamonn "Dusty" Sheehy said; "using different tactics helped and her experience helped. She has been consistent over fences and we'll look for another handicap chase.
"The softer the ground the better she will be."
