Home Farm leads over the last

The Arthur Moore trained Home Farm under David Casey, sprang a 25/1 upset to win the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse today.
The son of Presenting raced in mid-division before jumping his way into contention before the straight. Casey moved the gelding to the front at the final fence and the pair stayed on well for a comfortable win.
Asked whether or not Home Farm's win was a surprise, Moore subsequently siad“after three fences it wasn't!He looked a different horse the way he was attacking his fences today.
“He wasn't entitled to be 25/1 and I should have a few quid on him! The slightly better ground helped but he has always been a nice horse but the penny dropped and he put it all together today.
“Where we go now, I don't know – there are good novice handicaps here and at Punchestown and its nice to have something to think about. He'll get a good mark but he is entitled to it and being only six, is a nice horse for the future.”
