Harty's Tovaria wins Curragh opener
The opening Save 20% By Booking On www.curragh.ie Handicap at The Curragh today went to the Eddie Harty trained Tovaria under Pat Shanahan.
The daughter of Muhtarram tracked the leaders before eventually getting her head in front inside the final furlong, scoring a length and three parts success over Munnings
Afterwards Harty stated “Tovaria had colic surgery as a three year old and I am chuffed she has won! She's had three quick runs now but may run in a fillies handicap at Roscommon in mid-August.”
