Cowboy Justice (5/2f) bounced back from a recent disappointing Chester effort, leading home a 1-2 for in-form trainer Jessica Harrington in Killarney's Rose Hotel Rated Race today.
The son of Lope De Vega finished ninth, from a wide draw in 10, at Chester last month but today, under Shane Foley, scored comfortably by two lengths from stablemate That's Just Dandy
It was Harrington's 12th winner already this month and afterwards representative and son-in-law Richie Galway said “the Chester race was just unfortunate — we went there because of the prizemoney and he had a nice run previously at Naas.
“He is not over-raced so we hope he can progress again and is a good solid horse.
“He was good today and Shane (Foley) mentioned the Colm Quinn Mile at Galway as a possible race for him. We'll aim him at those sort of races and see where we go - it is good to get that win under his belt after his Chester effort.”
