The ground at Punchestown is now Yielding, Good to Yielding in places (on chase and hurdle tracks) and Good to Yielding (on cross country course).
Mainly dry weather is forecast.
The first of seven races gets under way with a beginners' chase at 12pm. Bob Olinger is a significant non runner in this contest due to a stone bruise. Cape Gentleman heads the market for the Grade 2 novice chase at 12.38pm. Emmet Mullins' charge is gunning for a hat-trick over fences.
