Geraghty to partner Big Zeb
Colm Murphy today confirmed that Barry Geraghty will ride both Big Zeb and Voler La Vedette at Cheltenham.
Murphy had been waiting on Geraghty to confirm his availability for Champion Chase hope Big Zeb.
"Barry rides the two of them and I'm delighted to have him," said Murphy after the victory of Zaarito at Naas.
The County Wexford-based handler also confirmed that Voler La Vedette was on target for the David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle.
"Voler La Vedette goes well fresh but she has to settle. She was too fresh at Leopardstown last time because of all the frost we had and can be her own worst enemy.
"The trip shouldn't be a problem though and Barry knows her well."
"Bar the first four coming out of the Champion Hurdle she won't run in it. She's still in there but is very unlikely.
"She's only a second season novice and the Champion Hurdle is always there for her next year."
