This day next week it'll be all about the Grand National at Aintree for the Gavin Cromwell team but the Racing Again April 22nd Handicap was in the spotlight today for the local handler and 7/2 joint favourite Prospectus did the needful at Navan.
Kevin Manning sported the McAlpine Syndicate silks on the Sakhee gelding and the five-year-old asserted inside the final furlong to record a three and a half length verdict over Tildas Icon
"He goes on the ground and is a very straight forward and genuine horse. He was a bit unlucky not to win on the Flat last year," commented Cromwell.
"The handicapper probably has him over hurdles but he could run at Punchestown if the ground stays soft, or we could look at some of the conditions races."
