Flood's Senior scores
Alan Crowe recorded his 21st winner of the season at Leopardstown today when steering Senior Again to win the Sandyford Handicap Chase for trainer Fran Flood.
Crowe produced the gelding to lead after the final fence before staying on to hold the challenge of Uncle Tom Cobley by three parts of a length.
Afterwards Fran Flood Jnr said “Alan gave him a great ride and waited and waited. After the race, Alan was telling me that he loves that ground but I was afraid before the race that it was too soft.
“He travelled well in his hands and when he got there, it looked like he would go away but he was just holding on at the line. We’ll stay at two miles at the minute provided there are those types races for him.”
