Flood Doubles-Up on Moskova
Paddy Flood, earlier successful on Faltering Fullback completed a double on Moskova in the Grade 3 Coolmore National Hunt Sires European Breeders Fund Mares Novice Chase.
This grey daughter of Montjeu got the better of Leanne (in front from before the seventh) on the run-in to prevail by three lengths. There was nineteen lengths back to Rory's Sister in third and there was a further four and a half lengths back to Leanne's stable companion, the short-priced favourite, Bohemian Lass
James Nolan, a brother of winning trainer, Paul, said: "Paddy gave her a peach of a ride. She takes a while to warm up in her races but she started to enjoy herself early today. The forty six day break from her last run helped her a lot. We've no plans but the fact that she got two and a half miles there opens up more doors for her." (EM)
