Erdiyna from the John Oxx stable opened up her account on the third time of asking when winning the concluding race on today’s card, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden by a cosy 3 lengths under Michael Kinane.

Winning trainer Oxx said afterwards, “Gowran Park is a lucky track for me I always have winner’s here. She’s a nice filly and it just took her a bit of time to do it.”

“I hope the handicapper is not too hard on her and we’ll try find something similar for her. She’s a very well bred filly her dam is half sister to three Group 1 winners.”
