A point-to-point winner around this time last year, Sterling Stuff (Philip Enright) ran out an easy winner of the Molony Cup Handicap Chase at Thurles under Philip Enright.
Backed from 5s into 4s favouritism on track, the Brian Boru gelding accounted for Miss Palm by an unflattering nine lengths.
Winning trainer Robert Tyner explained: "He did it well and I was delighted with the way he jumped. He's not entered again anytime soon as races are very scarce for him over Christmas.
"There is only one race for him at Limerick but that's over two three – too short for him.
"The others are a 0-145 and a veterans chase."
Unfortunately the Andy Slattery-trained Caddy Man took a fatal at the fifth last. (TW & EM)
